RAL Codes
RAL codes are a color standardization system created by the RAL Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung in Germany in 1927. The RAL classical system, which was originally composed of 40 different colors, now includes 213 standard colors and each color is expressed by a four-digit number. RAL is widely used in many fields such as industry, architecture, construction and design.
RAL codes are considered global standards corresponding to a specific color. However, raw materials used in the production process, added preservatives, processing techniques and other variables can cause tonal differences between the final product and the color specified in the RAL code.
